No car, no hunting for parking, no long bike ride loaded with beach gear: you simply walk there.
Schiermonnikoog's beach is more than a kilometre wide in places. Even in summer, you'll always find a quiet spot. At the beach pavilion at the end of the Badweg, you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine with a sea view.
Beach and village both within reach
What makes the location special is that you don't have to choose. In the other direction, it's a five- to ten-minute bike ride to the village, with shops, restaurants, the bakery and the supermarket. That way you can combine long beach days with a terrace or a dinner in the village.
The forest also starts right behind the complex. If you've had enough of sun and wind, you can walk under the trees or cycle on to the Berkenplas.
